1. Why are people less likely to trust strangers while a lot of them choose to trust a far-reaching (if not far-fetching) person as the “god” or god’s son?
2. Eyes are our information input of the world. Why we can read off a person’s thoughts, emoions and qualities from his/her eyes?
The moment when, after many years
of harde work and a long voyage
you stand in the centre of your room,
house, half-acre, square mile, island, country,
knowing at last how you got there,
and say, I own this,
is the same moment the trees unloose
their soft arms from around you,
the birds take back their language,
the cliff fissure and collapse,
the air moves back from you like a wave
and you can’t breathe.
No, they whisper, You own nothing.
You were a visitor, time after time
climbing the hill, planting the flag, proclaiming.
We never belonged to you.
You never found us.
It was always the other way around.
总是抱怨社会的步伐太快，我被拥挤的人群熙攘着走到这一步，却在四散的时候还不知道自己将要踏入哪一条支流。可是在频繁的不自信中我反省自己，在被顺水推舟的路程中，遇到过并执着于获得许多向往的美丽，却很少自发去追求过。许多时间花在了遇见更多擦肩而过的美丽或是幻想与那惊鸿一瞥的再次相见，想来没有亲身追求过就不算真爱吧，曾经总结的爱情哲学在这方面怎么领悟的竟然还要晚一些？
算是到了人生的一个节点，真正要自己面对的一个时刻。过去的一年算是找到了一个为之而奋斗的职业目标，接下来的这一年要面对申请的结果，毕业的去向，克服自己的胆小，与爱人的真心交流，也许还有世界末日的到来……既然打算要用最佳的状态面对这个重要的一年让我日后回望倍感珍惜，我想还是在年初写下一份事迹表，希望能推动招揽美丽的前进步伐。
